Picture from the Moncton concert!

Here's a shot taken from my camera position (dolly/wide). In this picture you can see the large crane in the right side of the frame and our small crane over on the left.

This concert was so amazing. Everything went smoothly and Michel's (from CBC radio-Canada) 30ft jib/crane camera work turned out breath taking!

We have a tentative date of the end of May where we hope to have to majority of the project completed.

Until next time!

Big Shoot in MONCTON!!

Just finished organizing the final details with regards to the shoot tomorrow night: New Brunswick Youth Orchestra with Matt Andersen!! This should be a show to remember!! Here are two groups of musicians that when playing alone blow the roof off each venue they play, so I'm very pumped to see the two groups perform TOGETHER!! Interestingly enough, we've worked with both groups of artists on separate projects in the past. It's going to be a nice little reunion.

In other news, Lauchlan and I had a great shoot last weekend at Rocky's Sportbar in Saint John. The lads (Fayeque Rahman & Roger Garib) from Roger's Sportsnet flew down from Toronto to shoot the final video with us for their "Best Sportsbar in Canada" contest. Which, by the way, Rocky's won!

We've also started shooting quite a bit of material for a TV pilot we're putting together for Marc Mawhinney at The Mawhinney Group. It will follow the life of Real Estate guru Marc Mawhinney as he continues to build his empire of property businesses. At the young age of 30, Marc has made a large imprint on the real estate market and shows no sighs of slowing down. Oh, and he's a wicked cool guy too.

That's it for now, I'll be blogging more often now as I have a new iPhone application that allows me to blog wherever I want.
